FITE Seminar Series

Our Faculty is pleased to announce the successful completion of the FITE seminar series in the recent semester. This series included two biotechnology career seminars, a physics entrepreneur start-up sharing session, and a TEDx talk titled "Revolutionizing Industries with Generative AI: Recent Breakthroughs and Their Impact". These events collectively attracted an impressive audience of over 300 participants, showcasing the growing interest and engagement within our academic community.

In the 2024/25 Semester 1, the project team has selected three undergraduate courses to pilot an AI training programme. This initiative aims to introduce students to various AI models, AI-powered marketing research, and essential skills in writing business reports with AI assistance. To support this integration of AI in education, a training workshop for our teaching staff is planned in May 2025 to equip them with the necessary skills to assess student assignments involving AI tools.

科教創新基金研討會系列

理學院於本學期成功舉辦一系列科教創新基金研討會，當中包括兩場生物科技職業研討會、一場物理學創業分享會，以及一場主題為「生成式AI革命行業：最新突破及其影響」的TEDx演講。這些活動一共吸引了超過300位參加者，顯示學術界對這些主題的興趣和參與度越來越高。

項目團隊已為2024/25學年的第一學期選定了三個本科課程作為AI培訓計劃的試點。這項計劃旨在向學生介紹各種AI模型，以及如何運用AI進行市場研究及撰寫商業報告等基本技能。為進一步加強AI在教育中的應用，我們計劃於2025年5月為教師舉辦培訓工作坊，協助他們掌握技能以評估學生利用AI完成的作業。
