- BSc (Hons) in Food Safety and Technology, Department of Food Science and Nutrition

My experience studying for a BSc (Honours) in Food Safety and Technology, along with various extracurricular activities, has fostered a strong sense of responsibility and resilience. The numerous opportunities and scholarships provided by the Faculty supported my participation in the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship at the University of Manitoba, where I honed my research skills and deepened my knowledge of food science. Additionally, my STEM internship at Eurofins Food Testing Hong Kong Ltd introduced me to the practical duties of the food industry and highlighted the importance of microbiological testing. Exposure to multicultural environments and industry experience has shaped me into a proactive, adaptable, and inquisitive student.

I am deeply grateful for the encouragement and unwavering support of my professors. Their invaluable feedback and guidance helped me overcome challenges throughout my academic journey. The university fellowship has further enriched my academic life, making it both meaningful and enjoyable.

在食品安全與科技（榮譽）理學士的學習經歷和課外活動培養了我的責任感和應變能力。理學院為學生提供了眾多機會和獎學金，讓我有幸參加Mitacs全球鏈結研究實習計劃，在位於加拿大的曼尼托巴大學進行了三個月的研究，藉此加深了我對蛋白質功能和結構上的認識。此外，我在歐陸食品檢測服務香港有限公司的實習亦令我對食品測試行業有一個初步的了解，明白到行業的職責和重要性。在多元文化環境的熏陶下，我培養出更多元靈活的思維，亦變得更積極主動地去接觸新事物。

我非常感謝教授和同學們的鼓勵和支持，讓我有勇氣踏出舒適圈，去發掘自己的潛能，讓我在理大的生活更富趣味和意義。
