PolyU SCIENCE Young Talents Competition 2025 - Preliminary Round

The Faculty of Science at PolyU aims to cultivate the next generation of young scientists by organising the “PolyU SCIENCE Young Talents Competition 2025” for secondary school students. This event, which runs from January to March 2025, offers two rounds of competition to assess participants' theoretical knowledge while also giving them a chance to gain practical laboratory experience. This allows them to explore their interests and get a first-hand look at advanced research facilities at PolyU.

Participating teams will take part in an Preliminary Round at PolyU Campus, with the qualified teams progressing to the Final Competition. Below is the details of the Preliminary Round:

• Date: 18 Jan 2025 (Saturday)

• Time: 10:30 am – 12:10 pm (100 minutes)

• Test language: English / Traditional Chinese

• Question type: MCQ

• Streams: Biology & Food Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics

為培育下一代科學青年人才，理學院將於2025年1月至3月舉辦「理大科學青年人才比賽2025」。比賽旨在評估中學生的理論知識，並在理大的先進實驗室中提供實踐學習的機會，讓參賽者能夠發掘對科學的興趣。

所有參賽隊伍將於第一輪出席預賽，表現優秀的隊伍將進入決賽。以下為預賽詳情：

• 時間： 上午10:30 – 下午12:10（100 分鐘）

• 測驗語言：英文 / 繁體中文
