Two Postgraduate students of the Department of Applied Physics have spent two years in research and testing and finally invented a sewage purifier by Photocatalysis. This technology has a significantly lower operation cost compared to the traditional sewage treatment methods. It is also more environmental friendly and can be easily applied in both sewage plants and household units in the future. Although it is still in testing stage, it is a good step in opening up more opportunities for further enhancement in sewage purification. More about this story can be read from their media interview here.
