Recycling technologies in the spotlight

The Members of the Advisory Committee on Recycling Fund and over 40 recycling industry professionals visited PolyU for exchanging views and experiences on waste management and recycling on 10 January 2017.

During the discussion, PolyU experts introduced their waste management strategies and recycling technologies. Two PolyU alumni Herbert Wu and Telly Woo also joined and shared their ideas on the opportunities and challenges they are facing in running their upcycling businesses. Shortly afterwards the visitors had a tour to PolyU’s laboratories and the House of Innovation in which various impactful research projects of PolyU are showcased, demonstrating efficient and innovative approaches to streamline the operation process of their recycling businesses.
