New looks for UniRe^® designed by students

To further promote proper recycling practice among the University community, the UniRe^® collection/recycling bins across the campus are recently dressed with creative, insight-driven appearances designed by PolyU students. You may read more about the students’ design concepts here.

With the attractive and unique appearance, PolyU staff and students are encouraged to practise waste separation at source and adopt better recycling habits. Everyone should compress big recyclables and cans, disassemble and dismantle carton boxes, or rinse the plastic bottles before dropping them into the corresponding recycling bins. Nevertheless, UniRe^® bins are not intended for large-size recyclables. In case over-sized or large quantities of recyclables are gathered, colleagues can approach the Facilities Management Office (FMO) to seek assistance.
