The Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC) and Campus Sustainability Office (CSO) exhibited all the works of the five winners of the UniRe® Graphic Design Contest during 1 to 5 May 2017 at Innovation Gallery B&C. The Contest’s Presentation Ceremony was held on 4 May 2017 to award all the winners. Professor Michael Siu, the founder of PolyU’s Public Design Lab and the original designer of UniRe®, shared with all the participants at the ceremony his concepts and difficulties.
The exhibition also featured a sustainable patchwork project showcase by madeinsample. This social enterprise collects unused fabric samples and turns the samples into impressive patchwork deliverables such as event publicity banners. They made three banners for PolyU Campus Sustainability Weeks this year and transformed the banners into cushions when the event completed.
