Reusable items collection in Halls

The Reusable Item Collection activity was co-organized by Green Hall and Chinese Mainland Students' Association (CMSA) in April 2017 during the check-out period in both Homantin Hall and Hung Hom Hall. This is the third consecutive year that the same activity was held.

It is common to see lots of items were disposed of during the check-out season. By participating in this activity, hall residents donated their items in good conditions and such items can be of use for new hall residents. A pool of items such as books, cooking utensils, and electrical appliances was collected. The activity turns room-cleaning into a meaningful act, and encourages student residents to develop a more sustainable habit, and avoid producing unnecessary waste.
