The Green Green Hall Community (GGHC) has committed itself to achieve in PolyU student halls with a goal of ‘Zero Waste’ by reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting daily waste. Zero Waste is the process of minimizing the amount of material going to landfill and maximizing the material that is recycled and composted, resulting in a lower carbon footprint and a cleaner environment. GGHC achieved this by spreading the message across the students through movie night awareness and by executing Jam making workshop. These activities received a positive response from students and there was a great mix of local and international students who participated.
