Exchange with students from the Macau Polytechnic Institute

PolyU has been continuously promoting a green lifestyle and green culture to its University community and is keen to conduct dialogues with other organizations who share the same vision. The University welcomed a group of students from the Macau Polytechnic Institute in December 2017 who are the participants of the Green Ambassador program steered by Green Monday. These students had a fruitful one-day visit to Hong Kong’s green stores, vegetarian restaurants, and PolyU. Taking this opportunity, representatives from the Campus Sustainability Office shared their experience in running large-scale events on campus such as VeggieLicious as well as PolyU’s many other green initiatives. The visit built an excellent platform for all to exchange their views and insights on promoting and encouraging a green culture and green eating habits on campus. The University is happy to meet more visitors and partners of the green movement in the future.
