Green Office movement unveils a new chapter

The Green PolyU Awards – Green Office programme, the unique platform within PolyU where staff members on campuses execute ideas and suggestions to incorporate workplace sustainable practices, has proudly entered its third phase development in July 2018.

A special ceremony named ‘New Developments of Green PolyU Awards – Green Office programme’ took place on 8 June 2018. All Departmental Green Officers and other enthusiastic colleagues who dedicate continuous support in greening their workplace gathered to celebrate the success of this programme. The ceremony also presented awards to three winning offices of the Phase 2 assessment, and they were:

• Winner of the Green Office with Remarkable Progress Award – Human Resources Office
• Winner of the Most Innovative Green Office Award – CPCE Student Affairs Office
• Winner of the Most Efficient Green Office Award – Health, Safety and Environment Office

Representatives from these award-winning offices were present and shared their insights and experiences with all participants.

Contributions of Green Officers and the involvement of all PolyU staff in the green office initiative are highly valued for the ongoing impacts on sustainability across PolyU. Green PolyU Awards – Green Office Programme Phase 3 will continue to facilitate departments, offices and units to implement sustainable practices across offices and workplaces.
