Pledge Plastic Free Friday

Campus Sustainability Office is campaigning the ‘Plastic Free Friday’ since April 2018, aiming to encourage the University community to abandon single-use plastic items, including disposable lunchboxes, cups, bags, and straws. The Office joined Centre STARS and organized a lunch sharing session on 18 April 2018 to promote this campus-wide movement. Speakers at the sharing session included a representative from the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation and PolyU student representative. Participants there made their formal pledge to support a plastic-free life and committed to skipping plastics on Friday or any day in a week.
