In conjunction with promoting a better and sustainable community, the Green Green Hall Community (GGHC) organized tree planting and plogging activities in the recent months. In April 2018, tree planting was carried out in Yuen Fung Butterfly Reserve to spread the knowledge of planting and caring and the importance of trees and forests (as part of the ecosystem) for residents in the student halls. Born in Sweden in 2016, plogging is a combination of jogging with picking up litter. This idea and concept were introduced to Hall residents in May 2018. Through these events, GGHC hopes not only show ways to preserve nature but also helps to improve the economy of the surrounding community.
