Updated information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

1. Latest social distancing measures

To continue containing the spread of the disease, the Government will maintain the majority of the social distancing measures and adjust the relevant restrictions for some activities with lower risks appropriately. The arrangement for religious activities took effect on March 31. The other social distancing measures takes effect from April 1, for a period of 14 days till April 14.

Catering business and scheduled premises

(1)        The existing requirements and restrictions applicable to catering business will be maintained

(2)        Swimming pools can be opened when the relevant requirements and restrictions are fulfilled

(3)        The maximum number of persons to be allowed at cinemas, places of public entertainment with live performance, theme parks, public skating rinks, spectator stands of sports premises and swimming pools will be increased to 75% of the capacity

(4)        Bathhouses, party rooms, clubs or nightclubs, karaoke establishments and mahjong-tin kau premises will continue to be closed

(5)        The Government is exploring that staff of catering business and scheduled premises who have completed vaccination (i.e. 14 days after receiving the second vaccine dose) would be deemed as having fulfilled the regular testing requirement of once in  every 14 days. Details will be announced in due course

Group gathering and mask-wearing requirement

(1)        Religious gatherings during which no food or drink is served (except food or drink as part of a religious ritual) will be allowed

(2)        The prohibition on group gatherings of more than 4 persons in public places will continue

(3)        The mandatory mask-wearing requirement will be extended

2. Working Group announces list of air purifiers meeting specified specifications

The Secretary for Food and Health has earlier stipulated a requirement on air change or air purifiers to be complied with in dine-in restaurants in the directions in relation to catering business under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F). The Working Group, established for the smooth implementation of the requirement, announced today (April 1) that air purifiers that meet the specified specifications will be uploaded onto the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD)'s webpage (www.fehd.gov.hk/english/licensing/guide_general_reference/Information_air-changes_purification.html) by batches, for reference by catering premises operators and ventilation contractors.

3. Consolidated testing requirements for persons arriving from places in China at different boundary control points

The Government has tallied the post-arrival testing arrangements at different control points, and require persons arriving at Hong Kong (either via land boundary control points or the airport) from places in China on or after April 1, to undergo testing on arrival/the 2nd day of arrival at Hong Kong and on the 12th day of their arrival.

4. Quarantine arrangements of arrivals at Hong Kong

The Government will closely monitor the situation, including the developments of the epidemic both globally and locally, vaccination progress, and changes in the volume of cross-boundary passenger traffic, and will adjust the boarding and compulsory quarantine requirements for persons arriving at Hong Kong from places of different risks when necessary. 2019冠狀病毒病的最新資訊

1. 最新社交距離措施
為繼續遏制疫情,政府會維持大部分社交距離措施,以及針對一些較低風險活動適度調節相關限制。就宗教活動的安排於3月31日起生效。至於其餘措施由4月1日生效,為期14天至4月14日。

餐飲業務及表列處所

(1)        繼續維持現時就餐飲業務的規定及限制

(2)        泳池在符合相關規定及限制下可予開放

(3)        電影院、只用作現場表演的公眾娛樂場、主題公園、公眾溜冰場、體育處所及泳池的觀眾席的人數上限增至75%

(4)        浴室、派對房間、夜店或夜總會、卡拉OK、麻將天九耍樂處所須繼續停止營業

(5)        政府正研究在餐飲業務及表列處所的員工完成接種疫苗後(即接種第二劑疫苗後再加14天),可視為符合每14天進行一次定期檢測的規定,並會適時公布有關詳情

羣組聚集及佩戴口罩要求

(1)        容許沒有供應食物或飲品的宗教聚集(屬宗教禮儀一部分的食物或飲品除外)

(2)        繼續禁止在公眾地方進行4人以上的羣組聚集

(3)        延續強制佩戴口罩的要求

2. 工作小組公布符合指定規格的空氣淨化設備清單

食物及衞生局局長早前根據《預防及控制疾病(規定及指示)(業務及處所)規例》(第599F章)(規例)向餐飲業務發出指示,訂明提供堂食的餐飲處所在換氣量或空氣淨化設備方面須遵守的規定,為順利落實該規定而成立的工作小組今日(四月一日)公布,符合指定規格的空氣淨化設備清單會分批上載至食物環境衞生署(食環署)網頁(www.fehd.gov.hk/tc_chi/licensing/guide_general_reference/Information_air-changes_purification.html),以供餐飲處所負責人及通風設備承辦商作為參考。

3. 政府統一從中國各地區經不同口岸抵港人士的檢測要求

政府將統一各口岸抵港的檢測安排,規定所有在4月1日或之後從中國各地區抵港的人士,不論經陸路口岸或機場抵港,同樣需要在抵港時/抵港第2天及第12天接受檢測。
