Research Interests:

  • exploring energy metabolism and reactive oxygen species signaling in the heart under both physiological and pathological conditions;
  • identifying novel biomarkers for the early detection of diabetic cardiomyopathy using Omics techniques;
  • discovering active compounds in Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of different cardiac diseases;
  • investigating the role of cardiac rehabilitation in improving outcomes for heart failure patients.
