Hotel ICON Finance and Administration Team

Mr Cable Chin, Credit Manager, is a seasoned hotel professional with close to 30 years of experience in the field. Before joining Hotel ICON he held various senior finance positions in major international chains, including the Crowne Plaza.

Mr Erik Ma, Head of Procurement, joined Hotel ICON in February 2010. Erik holds a Master of Business Administration degree, and he has over 22 years of purchasing and sourcing experience in the hotel and fast food industries. Before joining us, he worked for the Langham Group, the Regal Group, the Marco Polo Group and the Fairwood Fast Food Group.

Mr Ian Lee, Director of Finance and Administration, joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007 and was transferred to Hotel ICON in 2009. Ian holds an Master of Business Administration degree and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Before joining PolyU, he was the Vice President – Operations and Control of the Miramar Group.

Ms Mae Wong joined Hotel ICON in August 2009 as Assistant Director of Finance and Administration. Mae has extensive experience in the field of hotel finance management. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CPA Australia. Before joining our team, Mae was the Assistant Financial Controller of the Langham Hotels Group and also worked for the Peninsula Group.

Mr Ray Wu joined Hotel ICON in October 2010 as the Accountant. Ray has over ten years of experience in the hotel industry. He holds a BA(Hons) Accounting degree with second class honours and is a student member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ray previously worked for Swire Hotels in the same capacity.

Hotel ICON Human Capital Team

Mr Michael Yau joined Hotel ICON in December 2010 as the Learning and Development Manager. He has been working in the learning and development field for more than 10 years. Before joining us he was the Learning and Development Manger at the Langham, Hong Kong.
