Dr. Wei Wu (Brave) 吳畏

Brief Biosketch

Dr. Wei WU is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received PhD degree and MSc degree (Distinction) from the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at The University of Hong Kong in 2022 and 2018, respectively. He received the B.Eng. degree from the Department of Vehicle Engineering at Hunan University in 2017. Prior to joining the ISE, he was a Research Assistant Professor in the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Chongqing University. His research interests include smart factory, digital twin, cyber-physical systems, spatial-temporal analytics, industrial artificial intelligence and etc. He has published a series of research papers on leading international journals including IEEE (TII, IoT, TIM), R&CIM, IJPE, JMS, JIII, AEI, CII, CIE, and etc. He also obtained fruitful experiences in conducting research projects and enterprise projects in the field of smart manufacturing and logistics.
