Technical Visit to HKSTP (TKO)

On 6 October 2023, 15 participants joined Technical Visit to HKSTP (TKO). The event started at 14:00 with the introduction of HKSTP and a guest speaker introducing his company in HKSTP. After the introuduction, we have a group photo together.

We first went to a model room where we can see two model building (Data Technology Hub and Advanced Manufacturing Centre). The speaker introduces the function of the two building.

Data Technology Hub was opened in 2016 focusing high value-added software and Big Data. It provides 220,000 sq. ft. leasable area with 3.5m ceiling height.

Advanced Manufacturing Centre was opened in 2022 with gross area of 1.1 million sq. ft and 6m ceiling height. It provided an automatic warehouse at the ground floor.

At the ground floor of Advanced Manufacturing Centre, there is an automatic warehouse where goods can be stacked update automatically. A demo was done to show the operation of the automatic warehouse.

After that we went to Technology Hub to understand the features of the facility. The event ended at 15:30.
