Summary

In this research seminar, Dr. Breznik will share his experience in the application of network analysis for exploring the unveiled issues in a wide scope of research topics, such as business and social studies.  Pajek is the specific tool to be discussed in this seminar. 

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Kristijan Breznik (Erasmus Mobility Funded Visit)

Kristijan Breznik works as an Assistant Professor at the International School for Social and Business Studies and at the Environmental Protection College in Velenje, Slovenia. He obtained a PhD in Statistics, field of social network analysis, and a Master of Science in mathematics, field of number theory, both at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. His main research interests, beside social network analysis, are data analysis, graph theory, database development, entrepreneurial networks as well as sport statistics. Currently, he is the Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Management, Knowledge and Learning. International Journal of Innovation and Learning, International Journal of Management and Enterprise Development, International Journal of Management in Education, World Transactions on Engineering and Technology Education and International Journal of Value Chain Management. He authored a number of scientific journal papers, recently in International Journal of Technology and Design Education, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, International Journal of Performance Analysis in Sport, Perceptual and Motor Skills, International Journal of Innovation and Learning, Technics Technologies Education Management, International Journal of Synergy and Research, Austrian Journal of Statistics etc.
