It is always easy to input emoji in your instant message or email with your smartphones or tablets, as the emoji keypad has already built-in. However, it is another case while you are using desktop PC with a physical keyboard. So, let us tell you a little trick on adding emoji to your email message in Outlook.
Outlook for Microsoft 365 contains a small set of default emojis. Users can type the text code for insert an emoji. For example, typing :-) inserts the emoji of a smiley face.
However, with Outlook running on Windows 10, it is even easier to insert an emoji as Windows 10 contains a larger set of emojis. To call out the Windows 10 emoji keypad, press the Windows key and the period key at the same time.

To find an emoji form the keypad, you can either scroll through the list, use the category icons at the bottom of the emoji keypad, or type the word to search the emoji you want. For example, typing the word ‘present’ filters the available emoji for you. Then simply click the one you want to insert it into your email.
