Emails and documents are frequently used in our office daily work for communication and information sharing. It is unavoidable that these communications may sometimes contain sensitive and personal information, and there had been cases that such information was leaked to other users accidentally or exposed to the general public.
Two handy tools have been introduced to help staff protect sensitive and confidential message and document attachment:
- Manage recipients’ use on email message content
The ‘Do Not Forward’ function in Outlook allows you to control recipients’ action to the email message from forward, save, print, and even screen capture. Find out more in this video.
- Manage recipients’ access and use of the attached document in email
Microsoft ‘Azure Information Protection’ (AIP) allows you to control who and when a document file can be viewed, edited and printed. Find out more in this video.
