With more departments leveraging PolyU Form Service (PFS) for event online registration, conducting survey and voting, the demand of a larger base for more concurrent users has out growth capacity of the existing PFS platform.
PFS 2.0 adopts Docker Technology which can flexibly scale up as a surge in load demand and thus allow more consistent response performance.
PFS 2.0 supports JSON option (open standard file and data exchange format) in export of form captured responses, enhancing flexibility to automate survey / online registration / admin e-form post processing works.
Moreover, PFS 2.0 supports placeholder function in text editor and allows email notification function covering carbon copy and blind carbon copy recipients in addition to designated recipients. E-forms created on PFS 2.0 can support QR code as well.
In order to prepare for the next phase of transition from PFS to PFS 2.0, the ‘Create Form’ function in the existing PFS will be disabled from 1 January 2023.
Form administrators who need to create a new e-form on or after 1 January 2023, please use PFS 2.0.
If you have any question on exporting your form and data in PFS and the import into PFS 2.0, please send email to pfs.admin@polyu.edu.hk for assistance.
