Zoom has released a new feature called Zoom Team Chat channels, which will be available for use in all Summer Term courses.
In addition to using Zoom for Video Conferences and face-to-face lecture recordings, instructors can now use Zoom Team Chat channels as a collaboration space for students.
Each Summer course will be assigned a course Zoom Team Chat channel based on its course code. Instructors, TAs and enrolled students will be granted access to the channels by default. To make it easier for instructors to use the Zoom whiteboard function and collaborate with students during class, all teaching PCs in the classrooms will be pre-installed with the Zoom desktop client.

Instructors and students who have not activated Zoom account can visit https://polyu.zoom.us and sign in with PolyU Single-Sign-On (PolyU-SSO) to experience the new Zoom Team Chat channels.
Please note that Zoom Team Chat channels will be deleted one week after the end of the examination period in each semester.
