To create a supportive environment and enhance students' learning experience during the review of recorded class sessions, two new Zoom functions, namely auto transcription and AI summary (English only), have been enabled for all class instructors. These features aim to provide additional support and improve accessibility for students.
When instructors record class sessions using Zoom, the recorded sessions are automatically embedded with transcriptions. Additionally, a recording summary is made available to the class instructor. The instructor is able to edit both the transcription and the class summary before publishing them to their students, ensuring accuracy and clarity of the recorded content.
