With great excitement and a commitment to fostering lifelong connections, we are thrilled to announce the successful launch of the Alumni Portal and Alumni Management System on 13 June 2024.
Highlights of the platform
- Built using modern, mobile-responsive design principles, allowing alumni to seamlessly access their profiles and stay connected to the University from anywhere using their personal mobile devices.
- Migrate from license packages on-premise and in the Cloud to one on-campus platform built in-house, free from previous licensing restrictions. This enables broader access across academic departments, GS, MDO and AAO colleagues to search, filter, update and extract alumni information via an administrative dashboard.
- The Alumni Portal streamlines alumni contact updates and engagement with PolyU by simplifying the logon experience using One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their previously registered email address.
Since the launch, access to Alumni Portal has grown every day. The visiting number is over 5200, with around 4000 alumni records being updated within 10 days.
The Alumni Portal will be further enriched with features and functionality to address the need of alumni and department users based on their feedback.

- Alumni eCard photo – Alumni can take photo by using the camera of personal mobile device and upload to alumni portal
- Alumni Management System - different search/filtering criteria are available for departments to search alumni records
