Enable Virtual Waiting Room function on PFS forms as option for eform publisher

The virtual waiting room function improves user experience during peak traffic periods by allowing target participants to queue their access requests to take the survey, register for events or cast votes in an open ballot.

The traffic flow management features prevent contentions that could impact all participants and ensure that each request is processed on a first in, first out basis.

If the event you plan expects there will be more demand than the available supply, or if a large volume of target participants needs to complete the online event before the deadline with potential for traffic contention, the eform publisher should consider adding a virtual waiting room function.

To add the virtual waiting room function, simply follow the steps below when creating your online survey, registration, or voting e-form.

  1. Click on Simple Plugins.
    01
and click on Enable Queue-it for this form.

    02

  2. Once target participants access the form, they will be redirected to a queuing page before reaching the e-form you authored and published on the PFS platform to facilitate a first-come, first-served mechanism.
