DELab focuses on integrating artificial intelligence, data science, GIS, and IoT technologies to transform urban energy infrastructures into digital, intelligent, efficient, and renewable-powered systems. The lab pioneers solutions for renewable energy mapping, assessment, simulation, and visualization, ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy resources into urban settings. Research topics include global-scale renewable energy sources mapping, heterogeneous renewable energy datasets, renewable energy simulation and visualization toolkits, spatial-temporal renewable energy evaluation, and demand management and load forecasting.
