Inflexibility is the major limitation of the existing bollards and railings that they are unable to fit for varied and changing urban needs and lifestyles. FlexiBOL® is a bollard system with specially designed interlocking components and mounting mechanism to enable flexibility in planning, design, implementation and management of public spaces and street environments regarding functions of protection, direction, separation and decoration. It overcomes the limitations and problems of existing bollard systems, including those of commonly used retractable and removable bollards. FlexiBOL® is a critical breakthrough in street furniture design that “FlexiDesign” approach has been adopted in design consideration and implementation.
