OBSESSION by Monica Tsang aims to create high quality ceramic products under her own brand (Monica Tsang Designs) for the international market. Tsang’s mission is to design a unique luxury ceramics collection with quality craftsmanship in order to appeal to high-end international customers.
Tsang also hopes OBSESSION will help revive ceramics craftsmanship and promote the cultural inheritance of traditional Chinese ceramic making skills such as hand painting and mould making, which are in danger of disappearing over the next two decades. OBSESSION is supported by Hong Kong Design Centre’s Design Incubation Programme. Tsang won the Red Dot Design Concept Award in 2006 and Rising Asian Talent organized by Maison & Objet (France) in 2015.
