APEX PowerLab company's founders come from the Power Electronics Research Center of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and have been committed to working on R&D in the field of power electronics. Research and development focus on power electronic conversion, electric vehicles and automotive parts, motor drive, battery management system, photovoltaic power generation, power quality management, power equipment monitoring, electromagnetic interference and lighting.

APEX PowerLab have also been providing many technical support and solutions to Hong Kong industries to help upgrade and develop in the field of electric power, electric energy and power electronics applications. APEX PowerLab is conducting in-depth R&D in the field of power electronics and energy combined with IoT information and intelligent control technology. The products of APEX PowerLab include Environmental Energy Harvesting Self-powered Battery-free IoT Sensor Devices, Intelligent Vehicle Engine Starter based on Supercapacitor Technology, and Battery Management System based on Early Warning and Diagnosis for Battery Safety. APEX PowerLab will continue to develop technology in the direction of battery-free, battery safety, and limited battery use, and provide customers with innovative and sustainable products and solutions.
