Fabric pressure sensors are ideal candidates for measuring pressure on three dimensional surfaces. A new family of fabric based sensors for three - dimensional pressure mapping has been created for man-machine interface and other engineering applications. Fabric sensor based in shoe plantar pressure measurement system and garment low pressure measurement system have been developed. Fabric based pressure sensors and their products are promising for applications in textile and apparel, healthcare and medicine, sportswear, safety and protection, automobile, construction, and electronic industries.
