Programme Structure

(Applicable to students admitted from 2025/26 and onwards)

 

 

Study Routes 

Students are free to choose one of three routes to fulfill graduation requirements, as detailed below:

  1. Dissertation route: Core/Compulsory Subjects (12 credits) + LSGI551 Dissertation (9 credits) + 3 Elective Subjects (9 credits) + 1 AIE Subject (1 credit)OR
  2. Project route: Core/Compulsory Subjects (15 credits) + LSGI552 Project (6 credits) + 3 Elective Subjects (9 credits)+ 1 AIE Subject (1 credit)OR
  3. Non-dissertation/project route: Core/Compulsory Subjects (15 credits) + 5 Elective Subjects (15 credits)+ 1 AIE Subject (1 credit)

Academic Integrity and Ethics (AIE) Requirement* 

All Taught Postgraduate students from 2024/25 intake cohort are required to study 1 credit bearing “Academic Integrity and Ethics Requirement” in the curriculum. No tuition fee will be charged for this 1 credit subject.
