Prof. WU Bo, Associate Director of the Research Centre for Deep Space Explorations (RCDSE), in his interview with the China News Service on 30 May 2023, said that having university researchers to serve as payload specialist at space station for the first time in the Shenzhou-16 mission was exciting. He hoped that there would also be payload specialists from Hong Kong to join the Nation’s space missions for research at the space station or on the lunar surface in the near future.
