Prof. Ming Zhang and Dr Jason Cheung, Director and Senior Research Fellow of RISports, were featured in the cover story of Mainland - Hong Kong Academic Exchange Newsletter Vol. 138 (Oct 2023) introducing RISports and revealed the current research projects. Prof. Zhang looked forward to establishing a sports and health database that could support up to 100,000 Hong Kong citizens in the future. And after numerous clinical trials, the institute has launched the "Tai Chi Running" research scheme, which would be further promoted later. In addition to promoting the implementation of scientific research, RISports was also actively developing in all aspects, including dedicating itself to competition training. Next year, it also planned to offer a Master's degree programme in sports technology to attract graduates from mainland sports universities to come to Hong Kong for further education.
