Prof. Christopher CHAO, Vice President (Research and Innovation) of PolyU and Director of PReCIT, shared that high living costs and market competition result in difficulty for startups to maintain professional teams steadily, directly impacting the development of unicorn enterprises. Prof. Chao suggested the Government allocating a site in the North Metropolis to accommodate the talents in order to attract and retain them in the city.
