Prof. Christopher CHAO, Vice President (Research and Innovation) of PolyU and Director of PReCIT, penned an article in Wen Wei Po, discussing the goals stated in the Chief Executive’s New Year message and the policies aimed at promoting new quality productive forces in Hong Kong as promulgated in the Policy Address 2024. Prof. Chao expressed that the Policy Address is beneficial for Hong Kong's aspirations to become an international innovation and technology hub, as it aims to drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and foster the growth of emerging industries.
