According to a report about joint innovation and economy and social development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) ranked third among tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and Macau in terms of supporting innovation development of cities in the Pearl River Delta. The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Hong Kong and PolyU also had the most collaborative ESI papers, with over 5,600 papers written together.
