New Project
Our team is currently working on a new project "Enhancement of Student Internationalisation via Integration of Curricular and Co-Curricular Strategies". The objectives of this project are three-fold:
1. To use the framework (developed by the current UGC TLRP on internationalisation) as a reference guide for revealing how different disciplines of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) have responded to internationalisation and embedded the objective of producing graduates who are “global citizens” (a key sector of graduate attribute) into the design and delivery of their curricular and co-curricular activities. A series of workshops will be organised to promote the framework and to facilitate the activities associated with internationalising the curriculum in particular how to continue the normal teacher teaching and student learning during a crisis or disaster.
2. To identify and gather a range of discipline-specific examples of good practices for internationalising the curriculum, and generic co-curricular initiatives for promotion of internationalision that will be promoted and shared across PolyU community.
3. To design and develop the assessment standards and criteria based on the accepted general principles. The framework for the assessment of quality in internationalisation at institutional and programme levels comprises standards and each of these standards should be defined under specific criteria.
This section will be updated once new findings/deliverables are achieved.
