Soccer-playing robots get a nice win
At the Student Design Competition organised by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in the United States, a team of PolyU mechanical engineering students brought home the first runner-up award with their design of three remotely-controlled robots which competed in a soccer game with skilful offensive and defensive strategies. The winning team is made up of Stanley Go, Lam Kah-cheng and Cheung Lap-wing.
