Connecting world-class research institute
Vice President (Research Development) Prof. Alex Wai led a delegation of PolyU researchers and representatives from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Invest HK to visit Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the largest application-oriented research organisation in Europe.
The delegation visited the Fraunhofer Headquarters, Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits, Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology, and Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation. The visit provided an opportunity for exchanging views on the newest technologies and brought Hong Kong – Germany collaborations in applied research and technology development to the next level.
