To address emerging needs in sports research and technology, the PolyU Academy for Interdisciplinary Research has added a member – the Research Institute for Sports Science and Technology, which recently held a special inauguration ceremony joined by Hong Kong’s world champion cyclist Mr Wong Kam-po. In fact, PolyU’s support for sports development is not limited to research, but also embodied in our extensive education support programmes for elite athletes.
