Following the retreat, the RCMI Committee members, together with four esteemed members of the International Advisory Board (IAB), convened the second IAB meeting at the HKSTP the following day.
The meeting provided a platform for open and fruitful discussions, recognising the Centre's achievements to date, while providing valuable recommendations for its future direction.
The group then visited the Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute (GCMTI), the Centre for Eye and Vision Research (CVER) and the Sik Sik Yuen Chinese Medicine Services Centre. Through these visits, participants deepened their understanding of Hong Kong's current landscape and practices in Chinese medicine development, providing valuable insights for the Centre's future growth and international collaborations.
