The Centre co-hosted a symposium titled “Advancements in Liver Disease Treatment and Chinese Medicine Innovation: Transboundary Collaboration and Clinical Application” with 國際中藥及食品發展聯會 (IACMFD) and the Hong Kong College of Chinese Medical Nursing. This event aimed to bring together academia, industry experts, and medical practitioners to share research insights on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment for hepatology diseases, highlighting the latest innovations in the field.
The symposium proudly welcomed esteemed speakers to share their expertise: Mr. PAN Yifeng, Vice President of Shanghai Baiyang Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, shed light on “High-level Research Results Following FDA Standard” Additionally, Prof. LIU Chenghai, Director of the Institute of Liver Diseases at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, presented on "Advancements in Liver Fibrosis Treatment and Prospects for Treating Multitissue Fibrosis." Dr. YU Hon Ho, Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Macau, shared insights on the clinical application of the "Pinggan Formula" in chronic liver diseases.
