On Nov 13-15, the RCMI group led by Prof Wong Man-sau, the Director of RCMI, visited potentials research partners in Shanghai:
1. BaHeal Pharma Group, Shanghai Institute for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technologies,
2. Warburg Pincus,
3. Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and
4. Amway (Shanghai) Innovation and Science Co. Ltd,
In the meetings, views on joint development of new drugs, supplements and functional foods have been exchanged, the construction of joint-laboratories, talents training, and joint-fund application have been explored. The visits enhance the ties of PolyU with institutes and enterprises in the mainland, and identify the potential areas for future collaboration.
