Dr DU Minxin

Research Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Biography

Dr. DU Minxin received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), M.Eng. degree from the School of Cyber Science and Engineering at Wuhan University (WHU) in 2018, and B.Eng. from HongYi Class (or honor college) of Computer Science at WHU in 2015. His research interests include applied cryptography (e.g., searchable encryption, privacy-preserving machine learning) and differential privacy (new notions and applications in AI (notably, NLP), with publications in ACM CCS, ACM TheWebConf, ACL, IEEE Infocom, Financial Crypto., IEEE TDSC, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TIFS, etc. He serves on the program committee of ACM CCS, USENIX Security, NeurIPS, ICDCS, and AAAI, among others. He won the Best Student Paper Award from ACM MMSys'22.
