Biography
Yifeng Zheng is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Before that, he was a faculty member at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. He received a PhD in computer science from City University of Hong Kong in 2019. He was a postdoctoral fellow with Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Sydney, Australia. His current research interests are focused on machine learning security and privacy, secure networked systems, and secure outsourced computation. His research works have been published in top-tier conferences and journals, such as USENIX Security, CCS, ESORICS, AsiaCCS, DSN, TIFS, TDSC, TKDE, TPDS, and TC. He serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Services Computing. He serves/has served on the technical program committee of many major international conferences, such as EuroS&P'25, PETS'25, AsiaCCS'25, PAKDD'25, CIKM'24, WISE'24, and ICDCS'24. He received the Best Paper Award in the European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS) 2021.
