Biography

Huisheng Peng is currently the University Professor of Fudan University. He has published over 310 peer-reviewed papers and 4 books, and obtains 85 licensed patents with 37 royally transferred to the industry. He receives over 30 national and international awards such as the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award, makes editorial services for over 20 journals like Advanced Functional Materials, and serves for over 20 professional organizations such as Science and Technology Commission Member of Ministry of Education of China.

Lighting fibers and display textiles

Abstract

It is critically important to develop miniature electronic devices for a variety of emerging new fields, such as wearable facilities, smart textiles and internet of things. Here a novel family of electronic devices including light-emitting fibers and display textiles are carefully discussed with unique and promising advantages such as light weight and breathability compared with the conventional planar architecture. The main efforts will be made to highlight the main advance in the material design, function integration and practical application.
