Biography
Prof. CAI Jing is the Head and Professor of the Department of Health Technology and Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He is also a Fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
Prof. Cai's research interests include MRI-guided radiation therapy, intelligent wearable devices for imaging and radiotherapy applications, artificial intelligence and big data analytics. He has published over 120 papers in international journals and conferences. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for over 30 renowned international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and Physics in Medicine and Biology. His research capability is recognized by receiving over 50 accolades including the Excellent Research Award (1st Prize) in ICMIPE 2019 and the Innovation Award at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference and Expo 2022. Additionally, Prof. Cai also led multiple research projects and secured competitive grants from funding bodies such as the Health Bureau and Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee (SZSTI).
