SCOPUS IDBiography
Dr Hin-chung LAU is a Senior Lecturer and Program Leader (BSc in BME) at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He also serves at the Assistant Dean (Student Development) of Faculty of Engineering.
Dr Lau is passionate about nurturing future talents through teaching. In 2019/2020, he received the Faculty Outstanding Award in Teaching (Individual), recognizing his excellence in education. Besides, Dr Lau also organized innovative activities to foster connections between older adults and younger generations. Recently, he organized The 5th Biomedical Engineering Innovation Competition “Loveļ¼Innovate for Happy Ageing”, which provided a platform for students to showcase their gerontechnology products in collaboration with elderly participants and promoted intergenerational inclusion.
