Biography

Dr Mohammad MOMENIAN is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He received his PhD degree in Neurolinguistics at the Tarbiat Modares University, Iran in 2014. Before joining PolyU in 2021, he has been the Head of International Affairs Office at the Iran National Science Foundation and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Momenian's research expertise includes neurolinguistics, multilingualism, and healthy ageing. He has secured competitive grants from organizations such as CNPq Brazil and PolyU. In addition, he has published in esteemed journals including the Journal of Research in Linguistics, Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, and Scientific Data. By joining RISA, Dr. Momenian aims to establish collaborations and facilitate his research impact.
